Money Management International announces partnership with Mapping Your Future

Nonprofits join forces to provide college students with financial counseling and education
HOUSTON (June 23, 2014) - With student loan debt surpassing the trillion dollar mark, there's an urgent need for new and innovative programs and services aimed at helping families gain access to valuable money management and financial aid education. Mapping Your Future, a leading online resource provider for financial aid guidance and student loan counseling, announced a partnership today with Money Management International (MMI), the largest nonprofit, full-service consumer credit counseling agency in the United States. This partnership will provide more comprehensive financial aid and money management services to help reduce student loan default rates.
Through this partnership, Mapping Your Future will combine its reliable online financial education resources with MMI's family of person-to-person financial counseling and support services, with the ultimate goal of helping students build financial management skills to meet student loan repayment agreements and other obligations beyond graduation.

Mapping Your Future's comprehensive online offerings, including online entrance and exit counseling, technically-advanced and secure document transfer capabilities and quality customer service, combined with MMI's confidential person-to-person financial counseling and debt management assistance, provides a more inclusive financial education experience for students and their families.
