Show Me the Future game to be retired

June 01, 2016

If there's one thing that's constant about technology, it's that technology is always changing. At Mapping Your Future, we constantly review our information and resources to make sure we are providing valuable information that is easily accessed by our audiences.

As a result, we will be taking our Show Me the Future game off of the website later this month.

It was a difficult decision because of the interest in Show Me the Future. After all, the Show Me the Future game was built in 2006 and has been played over 209,000 times in the last ten years. However, with the website enhancements June 24-26, Show Me the Future will no longer be operational. The older technology of Show Me the Future just doesn't fit well with other technical enhancements we have planned.

The web address showmethefuture.org will still be live and will have a variety of financial literacy resources and games to continue to educate young people.

We would love to hear from you on your suggestions for Show Me the Future at feedback@mappingyourfuture.org. Such as: should it be rebuilt? Are there features or activities that you would like to have for your students?

We look forward to hearing from you!
