Knowing all the questions on an upcoming exam certainly helps you prepare and chances are you are going to do better.

That is certainly the truth with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and that is why the U.S. Department of Education makes the FAFSA on the Web Worksheet available.

The worksheet provides a preview of the questions that you may be asked while completing the FAFSA online at fafsa.gov. It will also help students and parents gather all the documents needed for completing the FAFSA.

The worksheet is optional, and the Department of Education makes the worksheet available only to help students and parents gather information needed to complete the FAFSA. The worksheet should not be submitted anywhere as an application.

Depending on the situation, the student or parent may not see all of the questions on the worksheet on the actual FAFSA or it is also possible that there may be questions on the FAFSA that are not on the worksheet.
