Thanksgiving 2020 |
||||||||||||||||
Thanksgiving is my choice for favorite holiday. However, I would prefer a Thanksgiving (or any other day of the year, for that matter) to not be in the middle of a pandemic. And speaking of choices, the pandemic has certainly limited our ability to choose how we celebrate this year. Celebrations with family and friends may be smaller or online. It will be a Thanksgiving unlike any other. But, despite the pandemic, there is reason to be grateful. Grateful for everyone who has worked to make our lives easier during this pandemic. Grateful for the many people, including all the wonderful financial aid professionals, who transitioned their work online so students could continue to pursue an education. Grateful to those that have persevered despite personal struggles during this pandemic. Despite all the limitations we face this year, this pandemic can't stop anyone from choosing to express their gratitude. For that, and for much more, I am grateful this Thanksgiving. | ||||||||||||||||
