Offices closed on September 7 for Labor Day

Maybe because Labor Day falls as late as possible this year, my brain has tried to trick me more than once into believing that it is not September yet.

Despite my confusion about the calendar, Labor Day is approaching and many offices will be closed.

According to the Department's recent Electronic Announcement, federal offices, as well as most Title IV processors and contact centers, will be closed on Monday, September 7 for the federal holiday. The Department has created a document listing the various centers' operation status on the holiday.

Mapping Your Future offices will be closed on September 7, as well, but online services, such as Online Counseling and MappingXpress, will still be operational.

Have a great weekend, regardless of the length of time you get off work, and stay safe.
