The end can't come too soon – the end of 2020, that is. The Department of Education reminded schools recently about the end of the federal fiscal year 2020 and the impact on the ability to disburse funds for various financial aid programs. In a September 3 Electronic Announcement, the Department said it will finalize its processing and accounting for the fiscal year 2020 on September 30. The action will impact funds availability for several financial aid programs, including the Pell Grant, campus-based, Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant, TEACH Grant, and Direct Loan Programs. So, consider yourself notified and – maybe looking forward – to the end of 2020. | ||||||||||||||||
