Welcome to the University of Vermont's Stafford and Perkins Loan Entrance Counseling.
It is a Federal regulation that first time borrowers of Federal Stafford and Perkins Loans complete an Entrance Counseling Interview in order for their Federal Stafford and Perkins Loans to disburse to their student account.
This counseling will provide you with valuable information regarding your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower.
Half-time Enrollment: University of Vermont considers half-time enrollment to be a minimum of 6 credits per semester.
Withdrawal from UVM: It is important that you notify the University of Vermont if you wish to withdraw. A Request for Withdrawal form is available from the Registrar's Office or the Forms section of the Registrar's section on the website. This form should be submitted to the Registrar.
