The federal government requires that all students complete a Loan Counseling Entrance Interview before loans are disbursed to the student's tuition account. Participating in the Loan Counseling Entrance Interview helps you to understand your rights and responsibilities as a borrower of a federal loan.
Centenary College uses Mapping Your Future to help you participate in this process. Once you complete your online interview Centenary College will be notified electronically.

Half-time enrollment: Centenary College Considers half-time enrollment to be 6 credits per semester (Fall and Spring). Students taking summer courses must take at least 6 credits to be considered half-time.

Sample monthly repayment amounts: Since loans must be repaid, it is important to consider the amount of monthly payments that your total borrowing will require. Some students graduate with no debt, others will borrow heavily. Using $17,125 as an average, a Stafford loan borrower at 6.8% interest over 10 years would pay $197.08 per month, total payments will be $23,649.60. The total interest will be $6,524.60.
