East Central University in Ada, OK
Welcome to East Central University’s Stafford loan Exit Counseling! Exit counseling is required by federal regulation to help you understand your loan rights and responsibilities. Loan borrowers who have graduated or will graduate, discontinued enrollment, or are enrolled less than half time must complete exit counseling. Half time enrollment (Fall, Spring, or Summer) is 6 hours for undergraduate students and 4 hours for graduate students.
You will get a confirmation number at the end of the counseling. Please keep this information for your records. The ECU Financial Aid Office will receive the confirmation electronically the business day after you complete counseling.
If you need to withdraw from all classes before the close of a semester, you must withdraw in writing to the ECU Office of Admissions and Records. You may contact that office to obtain a withdrawal form. You must also contact the Financial Aid Office to determine if funds must be returned to the federal aid programs and to complete required loan exit counseling.
If you have any questions regarding your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower or regarding loan terms and conditions, contact the ECU Financial Aid Office by phone at (580) 559-5243 or by email at financialaid@ecok.edu.
