Mapping Your Future services enhanced
Mapping Your Future made major enhancements to the website on October 10 and 11, resulting in a redesign of the Financial Aid Office (FAO) Access Area and increased efficiency to queries. The enhancements were critical due to the increased volume of students completing counseling sessions and the number of counseling confirmation queries.
Before You Login
Before you login to the FAO Access Area for the first time on or after Monday, October 12, delete cookies on your computer, as follows:
Internet Explorer 7.0
- Select "Tools"
- Select "Internet Options"
- Open the "General" tab
- In "Browsing history" area, click the "Delete" button
- In "Delete browsing history" window, click "Delete cookies" button and then click "Yes"
- Click Close and then click OK
Internet Explorer 6.x
- Select "Tools"
- Select "Internet Options"
- Open the "General" tab
- Click the "Delete cookies" button
- Click OK
Firefox 2.0
- Select "Tools"
- Select "Options"
- Select "Privacy"
- In Private area, click "Clear Now"
- In "Clear Private Data" window, put the check mark for "Cookies" and click "Clear Private Data Now"
- Click OK
Firefox 1.x
- Select "Tools"
- Select "Options"
- Select "Privacy"
- Open "Cookies" tab and click "Clear Cookies Now"
- Click OK
If after deleting cookies you have problems logging in, make sure you are using the correct URL (there is no “www” in any Mapping Your Future URLs).
Every effort was made to move user data to the new database. Some users, however, may still need to reapply for access.
Additional Login Tips
- You should try to login on the Financial Aid Professionals page with your most recent user name and password.
- If you have not logged in within the last six months, click on the “Forgot your password?” link first to avoid having your access inactivated due to inactivity.
- If you are unable to login successfully, try to reset your password via the “Forgot your password?” link.
- Have the super user of the account (if you are not the super user) check if additional users (you) still have access by logging in and clicking on Manage Users. If you are not listed, you should complete the additional user request form. The super user will receive an e-mail requesting he or she approve the access.
Phone Number Verification
When you first login on or after Monday, October 12, you will be prompted to provide your business phone number. Mapping Your Future collects phone numbers so we can provide better customer service.
