The Information for Financial Aid Professionals website is great and all, but. . .there's a new resource that seems to be a lot more user friendly for those professionals who want to learn about financial aid.

In September 10 Dear Colleague Letter, the Department of Education introduced the Financial Aid Administrator's Tool Kit (FAA Tool Kit) available on the Federal Student Aid E-Training website. This new information module provides quick access to Federal Student Aid resources, reference guides, and training material and is designed to assist financial aid professionals in administering the federal student aid programs in compliance with federal regulations. In addition to providing links to key Federal Student Aid resources, the Tool Kit also includes short videos to assist with navigating several Federal Student Aid products.

All schools are invited to explore the variety of information and resources available in the FAA Tool Kit for assistance with managing day-to-day financial aid activities.

To access the FAA Tool Kit, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, select "Learning Tracks" from the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "FAA Tool Kit" and then select "Enroll Me" to access the Tool Kit's main menu.

If you have questions or comments about the FAA Tool Kit, please contact Holly Langer-Evans at Holly.Langer-Evans@ed.gov.
