Nobody's perfect |

I've made my share of mistakes. Despite my best efforts when working as a newspaper reporter, I misspelled names, left out a word or two, and committed some malaprops – just to mention some of the milder blunders. Fortunately, most of those mistakes never made it to print – thanks to great editors and proofreaders. That's why on this day – National Proofreading Day – I tip my hat to the writers and editors responsible for these headlines. It's also a reminder that while we may want to strive for perfection, those unintended mistakes are what makes life interesting.
