It's not just about the money. Although scholarships help students pay tuition, the ultimate purpose is to change lives – to make dreams come true.  For students struggling to pay for an education, a scholarship can enable them to achieve their goals. To help students succeed, Mapping Your Future developed a Winning Scholarship Strategies flyer, which you are invited to share. The flyer outlines four steps for students to be successful in their scholarship search and application process. The key is to be organized and recognize that scholarship applications take time. Students should also understand that scholarships don't only provide money for college but can also result in recognition for inclusion on resumes and important networking opportunities.
