Department of Education wrapping up 2017-18 Campus-Based Programs

College and universities should know soon how close they came to spending the amount of money awarded to their institution in Campus-Based programs for the 2017-18 academic year, according to the Department of Education's calculations and information submitted by the school.
The Department of Education announced on Feb. 26 that the closeout of all 2017-18 Campus-Based program awards has been completed based on the data submitted on the Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP).
The 2017-18 awards closeout for the Campus-Based programs involves reconciling a school's authorized award for each of the Campus-Based programs with the amount reported as expended for the program on the school's 2017-18 Fiscal Operations Report. Financial aid professionals can retrieve any notifications for their school regarding the closeout in the statement of account posted on the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) website.
