Summer seems like such a distance memory now. It probably seems like months ago, rather than just the few weeks that it has been, when you were enjoying those quiet (okay, well, somewhat quiet) summer workdays.
The first day of classes arrived and it's been an endless parade of people bringing you forms, scheduling meetings, asking questions, and wanting explanations. Add to all of that the students and parents you are there to help. It all can be a little overwhelming, but if you have been in higher education or financial aid for very long, you know that things do settle down after a little while. The first day of fall arrives on Monday, September 23, and as the weather cools down, hopefully, so will all those demands. | ||||||||||||||||
