New Guide available to help with upcoming verification process

The financial aid verification process is not easy and so it’s good to know that the Department of Education issues a guide to help financial aid professionals with the process.
In a February 17 Electronic Announcement, the Department announced the publication of the Application and Verification Guide, which is part of the 2021-2022 Federal Student Aid Handbook.
The Federal Student Aid Handbook consists of the Application and Verification Guide, six numbered volumes, and appendices. Each volume and appendix is posted on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website.
