Deadline nearing for mandatory software upgrade and security patch

It's a message we hope most financial aid professionals can ignore.
The Department of Education has issued a final reminder about the February 20 deadline to install the latest version the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) software.
In the February 10 Electronic Announcement, the Department said the upgrade is necessary to comply with a federal mandate to improve email and web security. According to the announcement, the required software is available for download on the Software and Other Tools page of the Knowledge Center website.
