Dates to look forward to (or at least prepare for)

Institutions participating in campus-based financial aid programs can now mark their calendars with the 2023-24 award year deadline dates.
In the January 18 Federal Register announcement, the Secretary of Education provided the 2023-24 award year deadline dates for the submission of requests and documents from postsecondary institutions for the Federal Perkins Loan Program, Federal Work-Study (FWS), and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) programs (collectively, the "Campus-Based programs").
Fortunately, most of the deadline dates noted in the Register are for later in the year. The first deadline is on August 23, 2023. By that date, institutions must submit the Campus-Based Reallocation Form designated for the return of 2022-23 funds and the request for supplemental FWS funds for the 2023-24 award year. The form must be submitted electronically through the Common Origination and Disbursement website at https://cod.ed.gov.
