Seeds of hope |
||||||||||||||||
I couldn't do it if I didn't have hope. I plant a flower garden every year. My hope is that some of the flowers I plant will take root and flourish despite the hot Texas sun and despite some uninvited diners. (I am looking at you – cute, but pesky, bunnies.) Sure, I know the struggles that lie ahead when I plant the garden – but I enjoy the work, and I know I will delight in the beauty of every bud that blossoms. You, too, perhaps feel some delight in knowing that the hard work you've done and the challenges you've faced this past academic year have made it possible for students to thrive and grow. And without hope for the future, that wouldn't be possible. – By Catherine Mueller | ||||||||||||||||
