PSLF Days of Action designated
August 31, 2022
Public servants, such as first responders, healthcare professionals, and educators, often act in ways to benefit others and now it's our turn to participate in a Days of Action to benefit them.
The Department of Education designated four Wednesdays - two in August and two in September as Days of Action:
- August 24: Government Employee (Federal, State, Local, Tribal) Day of Action
- August 31: Educator Day of Action for teachers, professors, school staff, administrators, and other employees at all education levels
- September 7: Healthcare Professionals and First Responders Day of Action
- September 14: Private, Nonprofit Day of Action
The Department is asking organizations and employers to help spread the word about the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) limited waiver period.
The Department has resources online that can be shared on social media or in your own publications.
By participating in this Day of Action, you just may end up helping someone who has helped you.
