Keeping track of scholarship requirements

Congratulations to the class of 2023 on a job well done!

For many high schools seniors, May and June are months that many scholarships are awarded. Students need to stay organized to make sure they don't miss a requirement to receive the scholarship. Local scholarships especially may come with a variety of requirements before the scholarship can be disbursed.

Several years ago, my daughter's scholarships had a variety of requirements. Some required a copy of her class schedule before each disbursement, others wanted a copy of her grades after the semester was over, and some didn't have any documentation requirements. To help keep track of the requirements, I put together one sheet of the Scholarship Tracking Sheet and it made our lives a lot easier. We had the "who, what, when and where" of her scholarships in one place. It helped keep track of her sister's scholarships a couple of years later, too.

In addition to helping graduating seniors with their awarded scholarships, the Scholarship Tracking Worksheet can benefit upcoming seniors as well. The Scholarship Tracking Sheet incudes a sheet for students to keep track of scholarships they are applying for and a sheet to compare the cost of attendance at different schools.
