Department updates draft 2024-25 FAFSA Specifications Guide

On July 11, the Department of Education announced an update to the draft 2024–25 FAFSA Specifications Guide. The volumes contained in this guide contain FAFSA Processing System (FPS) technical and processing information for the 2024–25 award year.
The Department said with this July 2023 update, it has added:
- Volume 2 – FPS Schedule
- Getting Help and Volume 3 – Electronic Data Exchange and FAFSA Processing.
The Introduction, Volume 4 – Record Layouts and Processing Codes, Volume 5 – Edits and Rejects, and Volume 6 – ISIR Guide are unchanged.
