Pell Grant maximum increased for the 2023-24 academic year

Students eligible to receive the maximum Federal Pell Grant will get an increased amount in the upcoming academic year.
The maximum Pell Grant award for 2023–24 (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024) will be $7,395, a $500 increase over the 2022-23 academic year.
Some students, who are eligible to receive a Pell Grant based on their financial need, may not receive the maximum Pell amount. The amount an individual student receives depends on a number of factors, including Expected Family Contribution, cost of attendance (COA), and enrollment status.
A student must complete a FAFSA to determine eligibility for a Pell Grant.
