New functionality for Common Origination and Disbursement

Financial aid administrators managing campus-based programs have an enhanced Common Origination and Disbursement system after changes were made to the system earlier this week.
The Department implemented new functionality on the system to support campus-based programs and processing of federal grants and loans for students.
In a July 19 Electronic Announcement, the Department said the additional Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System functionality supports the Campus-Based programs and the processing of Federal Pell Grant, Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant, Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant, and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan awards for the 2023-24 award year.
