Feel free to use your judgment. Okay, that may be a little bit of an overstatement, but it seems to be the best way to approach 2020 considering nothing about this year fits into the normal operations guide. In a July 9 Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education said it will adjust its risk-based model regarding professional judgments. That means schools with a high number of professional judgments this year won't necessarily be selected for a program review. The Department said in the Announcement that it will not negatively view increased use of professional judgment or use it as a selection criterion for a program compliance review. That seems to be sound judgment during uncertain times. | ||||||||||||||||
