You're living in the future. If you work in financial aid, it is easy to forget what day it is. Because we are often thinking about the next semester or the next academic year, it is easy to forget the day and sometimes even the year. This often worried me - that so much thought about the future kept me from enjoying the time now. I suspect that people who work in other industries face the same quandary. However, perhaps this is where we are our happiest - when we are in the present but are thinking about and having hope for the future.
