With everything that financial aid professionals need to know, it is amazing there is any time to do your job after learning all you need to learn.

Amazingly, most financial aid professionals manage quite well. However, even those who have it all under control still need a little help every now and then.

With that in mind, financial aid professionals may find the new Financial Aid Administrator's Tool Kit helpful. In Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) ANN-19-06 on September 10, the Department of Education introduced the tool kit.

According to the DCL, this new information module provides quick access to Federal Student Aid resources, reference guides, and training material and is designed to assist financial aid professionals in administering the federal student aid programs in compliance with federal regulations. In addition to providing links to key Federal Student Aid resources, the Tool Kit also includes short videos to assist with navigating several Federal Student Aid products.

To access the FAA Tool Kit, log in to Federal Student Aid E-Training with your username and password. After logging in, select "Learning Tracks" from the main menu bar. From the drop-down menu that appears, choose "FAA Tool Kit" and then select "Enroll Me" to access the Tool Kit's main menu.

If you do not have a username and password for Federal Student Aid E-Training, select "Login" from the home page and then "Create new account" to create a username and password.
