In the financial aid industry, we are fortunate to be working on a mission to improve lives. By providing information and services that students need to pursue their college and career dreams, Mapping Your Future and its supporters are carrying out an important social responsibility – the education of our society.

Mapping Your Future receives support from state agencies, organizations, schools, and other individuals to help fulfill its mission. Students and families looking for accurate and neutral college planning tools and services relied on Mapping Your Future and have done so for more than 20 years.

Mapping Your Future provides the following:

  • a variety of resources for students and families, including early awareness, career selection, college planning, and money management tools
  • neutral content and encouraged students to look at all sources of free funding before considering a student loan
  • services to schools for the ultimate benefit of the student
  • loan counseling that meets regulatory requirements
  • customized and innovative services, such as MappingXpress, to help schools fully meet regulations and serve students

When the Mapping Your Future leadership, staff, and volunteers considered new projects or services, they reviewed the vision, mission, and core values of the organization. By doing so, Mapping Your Future's actions:

  • supported and encouraged higher education and career opportunities;
  • fit with our role as a nonprofit, non-proprietary, and neutral source of information for parents and students;
  • adhered to all regulatory requirements; and
  • were done with integrity, abiding by high moral and ethical standards.
