We could all use a hero right now.
For followers of the Paris Olympics with all of its controversies, that hero is a young man from Massachusetts – also known as the Clark Kent of the pommel horse.
The FAFSA has also had its share of controversies this year, and the Department of Education’s news yesterday about batch corrections and paper FAFSA delays has many in the financial aid industry in despair.
But just like in the Olympics, the hero won’t come from the organizers or leaders. The heroes are those who make the Olympics (or in our case, college) possible.
That hero is you.
