A high calling

I’m not trying to impress you with my clairvoyance, but I predict your office is going to continue be busy for the next several weeks.

Now that I’ve stunned you with my powers, let me say that you will also be dealing with some pretty irrational people who don’t understand how financial aid works and think that you were put on earth to serve them.

And once you deal with those campus administrators, then you have the students to deal with.

Let’s just say, we all know why you earn the big bucks in financial aid.

Because in addition to dealing with those who feel their issue is the highest priority of your day, you also get to deal with the grateful student who knows that without your help, they wouldn’t be getting one step closer to their dream. Or that student or parent who isn’t sure where to turn but found you – you –-the one who understood and helped them out of a situation that was hopeless.

Okay, so I may not be clairvoyant, but I do think there are angels among us – and they work in financial aid.
