Once again, it’s time to book your virtual space (in other words, your calendar) for the 2024 Federal Student Aid Training Conference for Financial Aid Professionals.
In a March 22 Electronic Announcement, the Department said the FSA conference will be held virtually, December 3-6, 2024. In the announcement, the Department said they weighed the pros and cons of each kind of conference format (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) before finalizing the decision.
“While there are several key reasons to support a virtual event, the most significant factor in our decision to go virtual again is that a virtual conference reaches a much larger audience,” the Department said in the announcement. “We welcomed over 22,400 registrants to the 2023 conference and look forward to reaching an audience of similar size in 2024.”
The Department said it remains committed to providing a meaningful and beneficial training experience and is hard at work designing an engaging, informative, and relevant.
This summer, the Department will post additional information about the conference and how financial aid professionals can participate.
Registration will open in the fall.
