Even though summer break just started for many students, it’s not too early for high school juniors and seniors to start thinking about the upcoming academic year and taking the ACT test.
Students can now review the 2026-2027 ACT test dates, set up their account, and possibly register for a test date. By acting early, students can stay on top of their postsecondary plans and goals and find a test date that fits into their schedule.
For some students, taking the test in their junior year allows time for a retake, if needed. High school seniors can select dates that allow them to meet college application and scholarship deadlines.
ACT National (Saturday) testing is offered 7 times per year.
