Financial aid professionals now have two essential volumes of the 2026-27 FSA Handbook available to them.
The Department of Education announced that the following volumes of the 2026-27 FSA Handbook are now available:
- Volume 4: Processing Aid and Managing FSA Funds provides guidance on how to request, disburse, manage, and report on the use of federal student aid funds.
- Volume 5: Withdrawals and the Return of Title IV Funds discusses how a school should manage Title IV funds when a student completely withdraws from a payment period or period of enrollment.
The digital Federal Student Aid Handbook is available on FSA’s Knowledge Center.
