For those schools required to report data under the Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment final regulations, one small part of that data is now available in the Federal Register.

A Federal Register Notice published on June 28 includes a list of CIP codes for qualifying graduate programs. The CIP codes are required to be reported under the Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment final regulations that became effective on July 1. The CIP codes are for graduate programs that have an extended earnings measurement period under these regulations.

The transparency framework established by these regulations provides information about the student financial costs and benefits of almost all academic programs at Title IV eligible institutions. The regulations also establish eligibility for programs that prepare students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.
