Staying on top of new regulations and getting answers to your questions can be a challenge at any time but this year it is especially true.
The final regulations for Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment (FVT/GE) took effect on July 1, 2024, in the midst of all the FAFSA changes and challenges. These FVT/GE requirements impact most Title IV educational programs at a school.
According to information provided by the Department of Education in GEN-24-90, schools can now find answers to many questions in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that are available on the FVT/GE Topics Page. New and/or updated questions and answers will be marked as NEW and will include the date of the update.
Monitoring the FVT/GE Topics Page is encouraged as new information will be posted as it becomes available.
