We could all use a hero right now.
For followers of the Paris Olympics with all of its controversies, that hero is a young man from Massachusetts – also known as the Clark Kent of the pommel horse.
The FAFSA has also had its share of controversies this past year due to its overhaul by the Department of Education. In the long run, hopefully it will make for an easier process for students, parents and counselors.
But just like in the Olympics, the hero won’t come from the organizers or leaders. The heroes are those who make the Olympics (or in our case, college) possible.
That hero is you.
