There’s one item that you may want to have near the top of your financial aid reading list.
An August 23 Electronic Announcement from ED announced the availability of the Appendices of the 2024-25 Federal Student Aid Handbook.
The Appendices, which includes general interest information that isn’t appropriate for just one volume of the handbook or is so unique it warrants special treatment, includes the following topics:
- Appendix A: Orientation to Online Resources
- Appendix B: Required Actions When a Student Dies
- Appendix C: About the FSA Assessments
- Appendix D: Other Reporting Requirements
- Appendix E: Institutional Reporting and Disclosure Requirements
- Appendix F: Higher Education Act of 1965—Table of Contents
The Federal Student Aid Handbook, which is available in both a digital and PDF version, consists of the Application and Verification Guide, nine numbered volumes, and appendices. Readers can find the FSA Handbook posted on Federal Student Aid’s Knowledge Center.
Questions and suggestions concerning the Federal Student Aid Handbook can be sent through the Customer Support form in the FSA Partner Connect Help Center.
