In addition to studying, students have some other important things to do to prepare for the ACT test.
One of those things is to upload a photo for identification and test security purposes. If a student fails to upload a photo, they will be turned away from taking the test on their registered date.
For students who plan to take the test on October 26, the photo deadline is October 18.
ACT requires students to upload a recent photo. The photo will appear on the student’s ticket into the ACT test location and on the score report that is sent to the high school. Students won’t be able to print a ticket until their photo has been uploaded.
The photo must meet certain requirements, such as being a clear image with only the student taking the test in the photo. More information about the requirements is available on the ACT website.
Students who need an exemption should contact ACT at 319.337.1270 to discuss the situation.
