The long-awaited processing of corrections to paper forms is finally available.
In an October 18 update to a previous Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education announced that the paper corrections functionality has been implemented.
The Department estimates that by the end of October, they will have processed paper corrections received to date. After that time, the processing of paper corrections will be within 7-10 days of receipt.
In addition to paper corrections, the Department is also now processing 2024-25 FASFA paper applications within 7-10 days or less.
A small number of paper applications that encountered issues during initial processing are being reprocessed. The Department will communicate with these applicants if more information is needed.
