2024 FSA Training Conference Virtual Event Platform now open

By Marlene Seeklander

The countdown is on for the upcoming Virtual FSA Training Conference to be held December 3-6, and you can do some prep work now.

Federal Student Aid (FSA) announced that the 2024 Virtual FSA Training Conference Event Platform is now available for registered participants to log in and build a schedule, view speaker bios, set up an electronic business card, and explore the Virtual Exhibit Hall. All registered participants will receive an email from mobilesolutions@chime.live that includes a link to the platform, their unique username, and a password.

Once the conference kicks off at 9 a.m. (ET) on December 3, session content will be available for viewing. All sessions will be pre-recorded, and some will include a live Q&A.

If you haven’t registered yet for the free conference, you can do so by going to FSA Training Conference Home on FSA Partner Connect, and choose “Registration” from the main menu.

A few tips shared by FSA for using the virtual platform:

  • Google Chrome is the recommended browser.
  • Close all other applications on your computer.
  • To avoid buffering, make sure no one else in your home or office is using excess bandwidth for applications such as Zoom, Netflix, or gaming platforms.
  • Answers to common questions about the platform can be found at Platform FAQs.
  • The Video Live Stream FAQ provides tips on how to participate in video live streams during the conference.
  • A brief tutorial that provides tips on logging in, navigation, building a personal schedule, and finding resources is also available.
