Federal Student Aid is offering more training to help financial aid professionals prepare for and manage the 2025-26 processing cycle.
Several new learning tracks are now available in the Federal Student Aid (FSA) Training Center.
These include:
- The FAFSA Process: This track outlines the steps students and contributors use to file the FAFSA, and you can learn more about the use and redisclosure of Federal Tax Information.
- Student Eligibility: This track addresses the general Title IV student eligibility requirements, including in-depth information on citizenship and eligibility for noncitizens, as well as a refresher on satisfactory academic progress policies.
- Verification: This track reviews the steps for verification, acceptable documentation, and resolving conflicting information.
- Professional Judgment and Dependency Status Determinations: This track explains the uses of both special and unusual circumstances and how to determine a student’s dependency status.
To enroll in the training:

- Select “Learning Tracks”
- Select “Aid Application Process”
