EDExpress users will want to make note of several resources that are now available for Release 2.0 of the 2025-26 software.
In a recent Electronic Announcement, Federal Student Aid announced the availability of EDExpress for Windows 2025-26, Release 2.0, which is available in the Software and Other Tools area of the Knowledge Center website.
New features in this release include full Pell Grant, Direct Loan, and TEACH grant functionality for the 2025-26 award year, modernizing the user interface, and implementing some “wizard” options to make EDExpress more effective.

- Installation Guide for EDExpress for Windows 2025–26, which provides technical and installation guidance.
- EDExpress for Windows 2025–26, Release 2.0 Cover Letter, which provides critical information regarding enhancements and other updates.
- EDExpress for Windows 2025–26, Release 2.0 Desk Reference, which includes step-by-step guidance regarding the Pell Grant and Direct Loan functionality.
- EDExpress 2025-26, Release 2.0 Software Full Download, which includes a link to download the program as a single file. The software file will begin downloading when you click on the link.
