State specific and national scholarship opportunities for students

Students seeking additional funds for their college education may want to review these scholarship opportunities to determine if they are a good fit.

College Now Adult Learner Scholarship– This scholarship is available to adult students age 19 and older who have interrupted their education for at least one year and who are pursuing a non-degree certificate or license in a vocation or technical program, an associate’s degree, or first bachelor’s degree, and are attending school in and a resident of certain counties in Northeast Ohio. The scholarship can be renewed for up to 5 years, 10 semesters, or until the recipient completes their bachelor’s degree, whichever comes first. Award amounts vary but are generally $1,500-$2,000 per academic year. Deadline: March 31

WP Beverages – Pepsi Scholarship Program – This $1,000 scholarship is for students from specific states including:  Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, South Dakota, Wisconsin. Applicants must also reside in a county covered by the Pepsi service area as outlined in the application and be a high school senior or graduate or current college undergraduate who plans to enroll full-time or part-time at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical college for the upcoming academic year. Up to ten awards will be awarded through the Pepsi Community Scholarship and up to five awards will be made through the Pepsi Dependents of Employees and Part-Time/Seasonal Employees Scholarship. Deadline: March 31

The College Club of Cleveland Foundation Scholarship Fund– This tuition-only scholarship can be renewed for up to 4 years or 8 semesters, or until the recipient completes a bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first. The scholarship award of $5,000 per academic year will be split between the fall and spring semesters. Recipients must be 19 years of age or older as of April 1, 2026, must be a high school graduate or successfully earned a G.E.D., must have interrupted their education for at least two semesters since high school graduation or during college, qualify for a Federal Pell Grant, be a resident of certain Northeast Ohio counties, and be enrolled at least half-time in a non-degree certificate or license in a vocational or technical program that is 3 months to 2 years in length, an associate’s degree or first bachelor’s degree in an eligible two or four-year program. Deadline: April 1

Sallie Mae $2,000 No Essay ScholarshipThis $2,000 scholarship requires applicants to answer a few questions and is open to legal residents of the U.S., the District of Columbia, and any U.S. Territory. Applicants must be 16 or older at the time of entry and meet certain other eligibility requirements. Each month a winner is selected from the pool of entries. Deadline: March 31

Western Digital STEM Scholarship – This $5,000 scholarship is for students who are transferring from a U.S. community college to a four-year university and pursuing a STEM degree. Applicants must be a current full-time undergraduate student at a two-year community college in the U.S., plan to transfer to an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. for the upcoming academic year and enroll as a full-time student, pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other Sciences (not including agricultural, health, or life), have a minimum 2.7 GPA, and demonstrate financial need or hardship. Approximately 50 or more awards will be made and are non-renewable. Deadline: April 1

New York Life Golden Futures Scholarship – Scholarship America – This $10,000-$20,000 scholarship is available to high school graduates in the class of 2026 or 2027 who are U.S. residents, and plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two-or four-year college, university, technical college, or trade school for the upcoming academic year (or following year for juniors). Applicants must complete the required number of levels of the New York Life Golden Futures game, a series of financial education modules, and must fulfill any other eligibility requirements in the New York Life Golden Futures Scholarship Official Rules. Children of employees and agents of New York Life and Supplier are ineligible. A total of 20 scholarships will be awarded with eight $20,000 scholarships to students who have completed at least 50 different modules in the game and twelve $10,000 scholarships to students who have completed at least 25 modules in the game. Deadline: June 1
