
Good financial aid professionals know their job responsibilities. Great financial aid professionals understand how their job responsibilities fit into the big picture of federal financial aid.
Financial aid professionals can strengthen their knowledge of Title IV administration through a new standalone course in the Federal Student Aid (FSA) Training Center – “Introduction to Federal Financial Aid Systems and Online Tools.”
The course is designed to provide an overview of the systems, software, and data processes that power federal student aid.
The learning objectives include:
- How to access key systems like SAM, AIMS, and FSA Partner Connect.
- The flow of critical student data, including ISIRs, Common Records, and NSLDS reports.
- How essential tools, such as EDExpress, EDconnect, and TDClient, support daily operations.
- The role of major systems such as FPS, COD, NSLDS, and G5.
- Completing online reporting requirements, including eZ-Audit and IPEDS.
To enroll in the training:
- Log into the FSA Training Center at fsatraining.ed.gov
- Select “Systems Training”
- Select “Intro to FSA Systems and Tools”
