Financial aid professionals have two new training resources available to help them with some of the recent changes.
The FSA Training Center announced the release of two new training courses to help Financial Aid Administrators (FAAs) use the new FAFSA Partner Portal (FPP) functionality that supports Workforce Pell implementation and real-time fraud detection.
The new courses include:
- Managing the Enrolled in Eligible Workforce Program Indicator – This course includes an overview of the Workforce Pell eligibility requirements and shows users when to update the Enrolled in Eligible Workforce Program Indicator to Yes or No, based on a student’s enrollment status.
- FAA Fraud Override – This course explains the real-time fraud detection changes implemented in May 2026, including how to use the new FPP tools to review fraud risk information for student applications and corrections.
The courses are available at the FSA Training Center by selecting Systems Training and then FAFSA Partner Portal (FPP) Training from the home page.
