Financial aid professionals and other industry partners will have the opportunity to attend the in-person Federal Student Aid (FSA) Conference in December.
Federal Student Aid (FSA) announced the in-person training conference that will be held December 14-16 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
The agenda will include updates on the latest federal financial aid policy and operational issues, keynote speakers from the U.S. Department of Education, and general sessions about key topics, as well as a resource center. FSA will soon share the agenda and registration and lodging information.
FSA noted the following in the announcement that:
- Space may be limited. FSA is developing a process for allocating seats to ensure broad representation from partner institutions.
- A block of rooms will be reserved at the Gaylord National Resort with information about rates and reservations available soon.
- Over the next fiscal year, FSA is planning to focus more of their resources toward building exceptional conference programs for the FSA Training Conference, rather than investing those resources in strengthening attendance at external events elsewhere.
