Institutions participating in campus-based financial aid programs can now plan for the 2026-27 award year, knowing how much funding will be available.

In a March 30 Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education announced that the final 2026-27 Campus-Based programs funding worksheets and the 2026-27 Statement of Account for each of the Campus-Based programs would be available in the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) website. Notification was sent via email to the school’s Financial Aid Administrator or the individual listed on the “Contact Info” page in the Campus-Based section of the COD website.

Campus-Based program funding authorizations for each school is based on the applicable statutory formula and the amount of funds appropriated by Congress and do not exceed the amount requested for that program on the Fiscal Operations Report for 2024–25 and Application to Participate for 2026–27 (FISAP).

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, signed by President Trump on February 3, appropriated $1,230,000,000 for the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program and $910,000,000 for the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Program for the 2026–27 award year.

  • Select “Campus-Based” from the left menu
  • Select the “Self Service” option from the left menu
  • Select “Notifications”

Some schools may qualify for supplemental 2026–27 Campus-Based funds based upon a reallocation of funds not spent by institutions from 2025-26 allocations. More information will be provided in future communications.
