A commitment to a profession can be measured in years.
Catherine Mueller, executive director of Mapping Your Future, was honored for 30 years in financial aid/higher education at the South Dakota Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SDASFAA) Spring Conference, recently held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The awards luncheon, held on April 30, recognized a number of financial aid professionals with “Years of Service” awards. The awards start at 10 years with 5-year increments thereafter.
Cathy, a Missouri native, began her career in the financial aid industry in 1994 at Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation (TG) as a writer. She then collaborated with a team to spearhead the launch of Mapping Your Future, which started as a cooperative venture among the country’s leading financial aid and student loan agencies.
Congratulations, Cathy! Thank you for your commitment and dedication to providing financial aid information and assistance to students and families across the country and in South Dakota.
