As schools are ramping up for the start of the 2024-25 school year, the COD system is doing the same.
In an announcement from the Department, the following peak processing reminders were shared:
- Origination and disbursement responses are processed throughout the day and generally sent to schools within hours.
- Batch processing may take longer.
- Mondays and Tuesdays are the heaviest processing days. The Department recommends sending data later in the week, if possible.
- System-generated responses are processed once a day at 2:30 a.m. (ET) for preceding day activity.
- Actual disbursement records may be submitted up to seven calendar days before the disbursement date for all award types.
- If batch or system-generated response processing takes longer than 24 hours, affected schools will be contacted by the FSA Partner and School Relations Center on the next business day.
