EDExpress for Windows users have a new service release available that resolves two recent issues.
In a February 27 Electronic Announcement, Federal Student Aid announced a new service release for EDExpress for Windows 2025–26, Release 2.0 that resolved the following issues:
- Updated the Direct Loan, Pell Grant, and TEACH Grant modules to report a value of “US” for the Country Code field to the COD System if the student is a resident of a U.S. territory, including residents of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa.
- Corrected a Pell Grant multiple entry issue that triggered an error message when attempting to update the Enrollment Intensity value for multiple records.
Users must have EDExpress 2025–26, Release 2.0 installed before running the service release file, which can be downloaded from the Software and Other Tools page of the Knowledge Center website.
The Electronic Announcement includes information on downloading and running the EDExpress Service Release file as well as some additional tips and guidance.
